My Ceremonies
I worked for 8 years as a part time registrar, and I loved being a part of a couple’s special day.
I had the absolute honour of marrying both my daughters and I loved it so much. As a celebrant I was able to work with them to create more unique ceremonies that reflected their different personalities.
This inspired me to want to give all couples the option of having more choice in the content of their ceremony.
Since then, I’ve had the privilege of creating so many ceremonies for couples who wanted their ceremony to be completely unique, something personal and one that truly ‘feels’ like them. A ceremony full of laughter, happy tears and the kind of ceremony that makes their guests say ‘that was the best ceremony I’ve ever been to’

You put so much thought, time and effort into every tiny detail of your wedding and I want you to have the same input for the actual ceremony, that is after all the reason everyone is there.
Your ceremony like you should be unique because you are unique.
We will work together to create a ceremony that truly reflects you, one which your guests will say ‘that was so them’
Whether that includes religion, symbolic elements, fun and quirky additions, or a ceremony based on tradition, whatever reflects you and your personalities.
Your unique love story will be at the heart of the ceremony, and I love it when I hear guests say ‘I never knew that about them’

With a celebrant led ceremony you can have your wedding, whenever, wherever and however you choose, the only limitations are your imagination.
I will listen to your story, and your ideas to find out what your perfect ceremony looks like, and offer advice and suggestions as needed.

On the day I’ll arrive early to set up the ceremony space as we will have discussed, speak to anyone involved in the ceremony, liaise with suppliers so that we’re all working together for you, I’ll mingle with the guests. But importantly I’ll be right there to calm any nerves (which you sometimes might not realise you’ll have)

My fee includes:
An initial no obligation telephone chat to make sure we’re right for each other.
On completion of a booking form and upon receipt of a booking fee your date is secured.
A face-to-face meeting preferably, or if not a zoom meeting, where we can really get to know each other, and I can begin crafting your unique script
Help, advice and ideas on readings, poems, music, and symbolic elements if you want them.
If you’re writing personal promises to each other, I can help you if you need it and print them up if you’d like and bring them on the day.
I only deliver one ceremony per day, so there’s no worry about timings, I won’t have to rush off
You will receive a personalised boxed presentation script for you to treasure.
Communication is so important so I will always be available for you by email, phone or text

Naming Ceremony
A name is so important, it is how family, friends and the community identify each other. Our name is usually the first piece of personal information that we offer to others .
Welcoming a child into your family is cause for celebration and a Naming Ceremony is a wonderful way to mark this.
You may be more familiar with religious ceremonies such as a Christening, but a Naming Ceremony focuses on the child and the family and is a very special and unique alternative.
As the saying goes ‘it takes a village to raise a child’ so you may want to include grandparents and/or ‘guide parents’ to be part of your child’s life, and make a commitment to support them along life’s journey.
But Naming Ceremonies aren’t just for new babies. There might be other reasons you want to celebrate a name, such as adoption, change of name or gender.
Whatever your reasons, I will work with you to create a ceremony that honours the identity of the person at its heart.

Commitment Ceremony
You may have been together for many years or are in the early stages of your relationship and want to declare your love and commitment to each other in front of your family and friends without any legalities.
If this sounds like you, then a Commitment Ceremony would be a perfect option for you.
This could be as grand or as simple as you choose, there really are no rules.

Vow Renewal
Many couples choose to renew their vows to reaffirm their love and commitment for one another in a special ceremony.
Often for a special anniversary, or perhaps you’ve been through a difficult period in life, maybe you’re looking for an opportunity to gather family and friends to hear your story and celebrate your love, or maybe you want to celebrate with your children and grandchildren, or perhaps you just want to mark the occasion in a small intimate ceremony.
Whatever your reason I can work with you to create a bespoke ceremony that portrays the unique journey in life you have been on together.
The process of putting together a vow renewal ceremony is the same as a Wedding Ceremony, sometimes longer because more often you have been together longer and have more memories and stories to share.
